The all-inclusive Breezes Nassau Bahamas first began housing guests in 1970. However, at that time, it was a Sonesta. Since then, the site has flown several other flags but officially became a Breezes property in 1995. 

Right next to Breeze Resort and Spa Bahamas is Baha Mar, a sprawling 1,000-acre resort containing hotels, restaurants, and the largest casino in the Caribbean. Instead of seeing the 2014 opening of Baha Mar as a threat to business, Breezes staff has seen it as an opportunity. Today, travelers can stay at Breezes Resort while exploring the grounds of Baha Mar (and other resorts) throughout their trips. 

The hotel opened in the 1970s, but under a different name.

Rooms at Breeze Resort and Spa Bahamas

Breezes Resort Bahamas has 391 rooms and suites. These range from simple hotel rooms to larger suites, with the largest option being a sprawling Presidential Suite.

With promotions, a Classic Room with a garden view costs around $385 per night (as of 2024*). Rooms with ocean views or patios can cost $100 to $200 more. 

While some of the units appear a bit more dated than those of other Bahamas resorts, comfort remains a priority across the property. Mahogany furniture, marble bathrooms, and other high-end materials are present in all of the rooms.

Restaurants, Sport Facilities, and More

Like any all-inclusive property, Breezes Resort Bahamas has a range of amenities to keep travelers entertained no matter how long their vacations are.

In terms of dining, Breezes Resort Nassau Bahamas has five unique eateries along with a customizable private dining experience. Cuisine types include Italian, Asian fusion, bar food, and more. Likewise, to quench your thirst, there are also four bars sprinkled across the resort. Wine and liquor are common sights at Breezes Resort Bahamas.

When you feel ready to burn off some of the calories you consumed at last night’s dinner, you can play tennis and pickle-ball or visit the resort’s fitness center. There’s also a spa that offers facials, couples massages, and hot stone therapy. 

The Pools

The resort features beautiful pools and hot tubs.

Breeze Resort and Spa Bahamas has several freshwater pools on its grounds. Differing from one another, one of the pools has a swim-up bar, while another is meant for misting. 

Scattered around the pools are various loungers that extend out onto the beach. 

Cable Beach

While the Breezes Resort Bahamas pools are lovely, don’t forget that you’re on a beach – and not just any beach. Considered one of the premier beaches in the Caribbean, Cable Beach is an idyllic slice of paradise.

Stretching out for two and a half miles, Cable Beach is the perfect place to go for a walk, swim, or just soak in your stunning surroundings.

Getting to Breezes Resort Nassau Bahamas

Breezes Resort Bahamas is one of several Cable Beach properties – the beach being one of the closer ones to Lynden Pindling International Airport.

As Breeze Resort and Spa Nassau Bahamas doesn’t have an airport shuttle service, taxiing from the airport to the hotel is the best way to reach it. The ride should take no more than 15 minutes. 

It takes 15 minutes to reach the hotel from downtown Nassau or the airport.

Day trippers looking to visit the resort can choose from three-day trip packages. The most basic package costs $100 (as of 2024*) and gives access to the resort. The two others offer that, as well as meals for either $125 or $150.
