In 2021, Nassau Margaritaville opened its doors after working through its $350 million budget. The Fins Up Water Park was one of the attractions that came out of that new construction project. Today, it remains one of the newest Nassau destinations.

The Margaritaville Nassau Waterpark may be smaller than other similar parks at resorts like Baha Mar or Atlantis, but it still has plenty to offer.

If you’re looking for thrilling activities, you’ll find them at the Nassau Margaritaville. The park features four slides – two for adults and two for kids. There’s also a surfing simulator and a plunge pool that has you jumping from a height of 10 feet.

Restaurants and Bars 

Guests who get hungry or thirsty while at the Margaritaville Waterpark have access to an outdoor restaurant and bar.

Feeding Frenzy is the main outdoor dining option, selling delectable options from fresh salads and hot dogs to crispy burgers and fish tacos. While you can purchase cocktails there, you can also get your piña coladas, bahama mamas, and mai tais from 12 Volt Bar.

Junkanoo Beach Nassau

One of the highlights of the Margaritaville Nassau Waterpark is its central location near Downtown Nassau. While you’re just steps away from great shops and restaurants, you’re also right next to Junkanoo Beach Nassau.

Named after the famous Caribbean festival, Junkanoo Beach is a beautiful slice of paradise nestled right into the center of Nassau. With swaying palm trees, soft white sand, and clear turquoise water, it’s a gorgeous destination full of excitement. 

Getting Around

The Margaritaville Nassau Waterpark isn’t as expansive as that of Atlantis or Baha Mar, meaning that traversing it is less of an odyssey. Depending on how many people are at the waterpark, you’ll most likely be able to get through everything in around an hour or less.

Fins Up is smaller than other waterparks making navigation more straightforward.

That said, you can easily spend an afternoon at the other Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau restaurants, bars, and Junkanoo Beach Nassau! 

Getting in

The Margaritaville in Nassau Bahamas is easy to get to, no matter where you’re coming from. If you’re coming into Nassau on a cruise ship, walking west from the terminal will have you at the resort in a matter of minutes. 

To enter the Margaritaville Nassau Waterpark as a day tripper, you’ll need to purchase a Day Pass.

Current Day Pass rates for Fins Up Water Park (as of 2023) are:

• Adults: $110 plus tax
• Children (12 and under): $55 plus tax

Travelers staying at the Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau can enjoy unlimited access to the water park. 

Waterpark hours are from 10 am to 5 pm, while pool hours are from 8 am to 6 pm. 

If you’re not stay on-site, a day pass is needed to enjoy the Nassau Margaritaville Waterpark.
