If We/Operator cancel your tour in its entirety, prior to departure, due to weather you will be entitled to a reschedule (subject to availability), a credit or a refund.
The tour Operator may have to curtail or terminate the tour early due to weather or sea conditions, therefore we can’t guarantee all stops along the tour itinerary. Please refer to Section 6 “Force Majeure” in the Booking Terms and Conditions.
Tours operate Rain or Shine. If you (the Customer) decide you do not want to travel based on the weather conditions or forecast, you may not be entitled to any refund and could forfeit the full amount of the reservation, because you are bound by our normal Booking Terms and Conditions Cancellations Policy (Section 3). We strongly encourage you not to make decisions about cancelation based on a weather forecast. It is very hard to predict the impact of seasonal stormy or wet weather based on long or short range forecasts, because the Bahamas has a unique unpredictable micro-climate. The weather impact often can only be determined on the morning of departure.
If the weather conditions or forecast weather means We/Operator have to cancel your tour in its entirety, prior to departure, due to weather you will be entitled to a reschedule (subject to availability), a credit or a refund. For this reason, it would be advised to continue to the Departure Airport location and await further information from a Staff member there as to whether the Tour Flight departure will take place as normal, be delayed, or rescheduled or cancelled.
Tours operate Rain or Shine.
In the scenario of seasonal storms, unsettled wet weather or low pressure weather systems; it is very hard to predict their impact based on long or short range forecasts, because the Bahamas has a unique unpredictable micro-climate; It is possible for seasonal storms to impact overnight or early mornings but have no operational impact on the Tour during daylight hours. For this reason the decision to cancel may have to be made at last-minute by the Pilots at the Departure Airport Location at the start time of your Tour. If we/Operator have to cancel your tour in its entirety, prior to departure, due to weather you will be entitled to a reschedule (subject to availability), a credit or a refund.

Our Policy regarding travel with Infants and Young Children: We must bring to your attention that the Exumas are a remote island location, far from immediate medical assistance. Any medical attention does require costly medical evacuation to the main islands and you would want to ensure you have a suitable travel insurance policy that covers these eventualities. Combined with the risks of interaction with wildlife and marinelife (pigs, sharks, iguanas) we advise that you do not bring infants, babies or young children with you on our tours. Your children would require constant adult supervision, and where there are activities that young children could not participate in such as the snorkel into Thunderball Grotto, one parent would have to remain onboard the boat to supervise the children not participating.
Our policy for PRICING and ACCEPTANCE FOR TRAVEL varies depending on which Tour departure location you will be traveling from:
FOR NASSAU TO EXUMA DAY TRIPS:
Infants must be aged Less than 2 Years (Between ages 0-1), to Travel as an Infant. Infants travel as Lap Babies and must sit on a Parents Lap throughout the tour, including flights and boat tour. Infants travel Free. Infants must be under constant Adult supervision.
Children, who are aged 2 Years and over, are Priced at the Full Per Person Rate. We do have Children Lunch menu options available for the Lunch Stop. All children within your group must be under constant Adult supervision.
If you decide to proceed with a Nassau to Exuma Day Trip reservation, and you are a large group of family with young children then we strongly advise you take our Private Boat Upgrade option which is $325pp extra. This means you have the benefits of choosing which stops to do or not during the boat tour. You may want to miss the Thunderball Grotto and spend your time elsewhere. On the group tour with other guests you would not be able to skip this stop, just wait it out on the boat for the other guests to participate. Having your own private boat would of course make it easier for you to supervise your children and ensure it is a safer participation for them, you and your boat captain.
FOR MIAMI TO BAHAMAS DAY TRIPS:
Infants must be aged Less than 2 Years (Between ages 0-1), to Travel as an Infant. Infants travel as Lap Babies and must sit on a Parents Lap throughout the tour, including flights and boat tour. Infants travel Free but must pay Fees & Taxes. Infants do not get a luggage or carry-on allowances. Infants must be under constant Adult supervision.
Children, who are aged 2 Years and over, are Priced at the Full Per Person Rate. There are Children Lunch menu options available for the Lunch Stop. All children within your group must be under constant Adult supervision.
If you decide to proceed with a Miami to Bahamas Day Trip reservation, and you are a large group of family with young children then we strongly advise you take our Private Boat Upgrade option (pricing is available by contacting us).
We will always sit Customers traveling together (Customers within the same booking), together on the same tour boat. However due to aircraft Weight and Balance regulations, it is possible that you are split up on different aircraft for the flights portion of the day trip. We therefore cannot guarantee you will be sat together, or travel on the same aircraft. We will always do our best to sit you together but there maybe very rare occasions where this is not possible. In the rare circumstance a couple is chosen to be split across aircraft, and according to the Weight & Balance requirements, we will choose the couple who booked the latest (most recent to the departure date). To avoid being split we recommend booking as far in advance as possible, or upgrade to one of our Private Day Trips with private flights.
If after having your group split, you decide not to travel, you will be handled by our restrictive Cancellation Policy, which means you would not be entitled to any refund in the case of a cancelation made: within 48 hours of tour departure, or an on the day of departure cancellation, or no-show.
Large groups of 9 or more people, may have to be split up across multiple aircraft as we most commonly use 9-seater aircraft.
If you are traveling together in the same group, but booking separately, you must inform us in advance of the tour departure (48 hours before) in writing that you are booking separately but traveling together. This will ensure that your group is assigned together on the same tour boat.
Contact us for more information about Group Bookings, as we do offer discounts if you want to book the whole plane on one of our Private Day Trips or Private Charters
For customers travelling alone, a Single Supplement may apply. You should contact us prior to reservation to confirm the applicable Solo Supplement Fees.
Solo Supplement policy for Miami to Bahamas (Exuma) Day Trips (only):
The Miami to Bahamas (Exuma) Day Trip is minimum 2 persons group size for booking. So rather than penalise a solo customer by having to pay for 2 spaces, a solo supplement has been introduced. This supplement is for the boat tour portion only. The supplement is paid on arrival on-island, if you are the only guest on the boat tour for that departure.
We can never guarantee that a solo supplement will not be due. We may have other guests booked who decide to change their plans. For this reason during the reservation process you will have to agree to payment of the Solo Supplement if at time of check-in, you are the only person booked. There is no way around it except perhaps to book a popular travel day, these would be weekends in high season March to May. The $460 supplement ($400 plus fees & tax) is very good value since you will be getting a private boat experience for the fraction of the price we offer that package at, approximately $4,000.

Yes. The aircraft are operated under regulations which state that the average weight of a person is 170lbs (clothed). Because the aircraft is payload restricted, which means that the overall weight of passengers can be more limiting than the number of seats available. We therefore have a requirement for customers to declare their passenger weights if weighing more than 250lbs. If a passenger’s weight is declared as more than 250lbs, the customer is required to pay for an additional aircraft seat, a “Customers of Size Fee”. The calculation of the “Customers of Size Fee” is based on flight duration and differs between tours and day trips. The customer should contact the operator in advance to discuss the requirements of the Customers of Size Fee and the amount of the fee payable. Failure to pay the fee will result in denied boarding, and their booking will be cancelled without refund.
Differs between tours and day trips. Please contact us with the passenger’s weight and we will clarify if the passenger can be accommodated and if there would be any fees due. Our Customers of Size Policy can be found in section 13.2 of our Booking Terms and Conditions.
Yes. All guests must complete and sign a Participant Agreement which includes terms as a Hold Harmless and Indemnity Disclaimer. Each guest is required to complete one prior to check-in on the date of departure. It is a mandatory requirement and forms part of the Booking Terms and Conditions.
Flying to the Bahamas requires international flights, customs and immigration fees. These are all included in the booking inclusive price. Excursions and Hotels are very expensive in the Bahamas. And during Peak Season it may not be possible to get any accommodation availability at short notice. Our tours are exclusive and private. Private Air Charter flights to the Bahamas are comparatively very expensive, so our Tours are very good value.
Due to the small size of our aircraft and lack of support facilities in the Bahamas we are unable to accommodate customers with reduced mobility.
If you are Pregnant it would depend on how many weeks you are. In all cases you would need clearance to travel from your Doctor. A letter from your Doctor confirming fitness to travel may also be required for the airline you will be booked to travel on. It must be noted that the Exuma Islands are remote and are therefore far away from urgent medical facilities. You should be aware of the risks of travel whilst pregnant. It is a condition of travel that you have a suitable Insurance Policy that covers Medical Evacuation.
We recommend that you upgrade to our Private Boat upgrade options. This will be able to better accommodate you and our Captain will be able to offer more assistance and support. Some activities such as snorkeling would be unsuitable for an expectant mother, therefore with the Private Boat you have the opportunity to switch activities.
Please contact us for further information regarding this.
On day trips each guest is limited to 1 carry on day sack or small rucksack with a maximum weight of 10lbs and maximum dimensions of 24x16x12 inches.
For all travel we strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Every Customer should have full and valid medical insurance which includes cover for pre-existing medical conditions worldwide, or as a minimum, in the countries that the Customer is due to visit and which must remain in force for the entire duration of the Tours. The insurance policy should, as a minimum, include medical and repatriation coverage for not less than $2 million and must include cover for the cost of emergency evacuations from the Bahamas, including but not limited to, evacuations by helicopter.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT INCLUDES COVERAGE AGAINST IRRECOVERABLE CANCELLATION COSTS
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF CUSTOMER’S BOOKING TO PROTECT AGAINST THIRD PARTY SUPPLIER DEFAULT/BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION, DELAY, INTERRUPTION, MISSED CONNECTION FOR CRUISES, CANCELLATION, MEDICAL EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION/EVACUATION & REPATRIATION, BAGGAGE & PERSONAL EFFECTS/LOST LUGGAGE & BAGGAGE DELAY, ILLNESS, JOB LOSS PROTECTION AND CHANGE OF PLANS, ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISABILITY, TRAVEL ACCIDENT/SICKNESS MEDICAL EXPENSES, AND MORE. If you were issued a Credit after cancelleling or postponing your reservation, these travel credits issued between 2020 and 2022 were valid for 2 years to allow the customer to rebook within a reasonable time period. The US Department of State increased their Travel Advisory Level in 2025 to “Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution“. This advisory relates to crime attributed to urban areas such as Nassau and Freeport, in particular the “Over the Hill” area in Nassau, south of Shirley Street.
How this advisory affects customers on our Day Trips:
Day Trips from Florida to Exuma: There is no impact. Our tours from Florida fly to Exuma and avoid all areas at risk.
Day Trips from Nassau to Exuma. There is no impact for the tour. Our tour pickup service avoids travel through areas known to be at risk. We would strongly advise when customers are booking their Nassau accommodations that they choose one of the many well established resort hotels (see list of Nassau Hotels here). And where possible to avoid private rental or vacation properties which do not have private security or are located in those residential areas at risk. If a customer’s pickup location is determined to be in an at risk area, the driver coordinator will advise on an alternate pickup location, such as the nearest resort hotel.
For further information, please refer to the US department of State Bahamas Travel Advisory.
Information correct, as of May 2025.
There is no restroom on the boat. Restrooms are available: At the airport locations, at Compass Cay (for the Sharks experience), and at the Restaurant Lunch Stop.
Yes, the only swimming activity is the snorkel into the Thunderball Grotto cave. You can choose not to do this activity, and you will have to wait on the boat while other customers do this activity. If you do not want to wait for other customers, you may prefer to book a private boat package. The private boat package will allow you to skip attractions, and/or spend less time at some attractions so you can spend longer at others.
The swimming with sharks activity at Compass Cay and the swimming pigs at Pig Beach, do not require swimming because the water is generally only waist deep (according to the tides), so you do not need to swim for those attractions.
If you not a confident swimmer, please enquire with us ahead of time so that child/adult flotation vests can be provided for you on your boat tour.
No, we do not offer seat reservations for our tours. Seats onboard the aircraft are generally allocated by the Pilot according to the Load and Balance requirements.
We do not offer seat reservations for our tours. Seats onboard the aircraft are generally allocated by the Pilot according to the Load and Balance requirements.
For Day Trips departing Florida, FAA regulations do not allow a passenger to sit in the cockpit in an empty pilot seat, for flights when there is only single pilot operation planned.
For Day Trips departing Nassau to Exuma, when single pilot operations are planned, the Pilot may allocate the spare front seat in the cockpit to a passenger according to the Load and Balance requirements.
Snorkel equipment is provided for the snorkel activity at Thunderball Grotto only. Customer will be provided with a snorkel and snorkel mask. Fins or flippers are no longer provided as they have been damaging to the corals.
A towel is provided for use by the customer for the duration of the boat tour.
For day trips operating in Staniel Cay Exuma, the total duration of the boat tour is approximately 3 to 4 hours. It maybe less than this, if your tour group is progressing quickly through the stops. 3 to 4 hours is not a guaranteed tour duration, because your group may complete the itinerary quicker than that. In some quickly running tours, the boat tour duration may only be 3 to 3.5 hours. Once all tour attractions are completed, the boat tour will return to the dock and the boat tour will end, irrespective of the duration of the boat tour. It is not possible for the boat tour to return to already visited attractions or go to other locations to complete any remaining duration.
We will always ensure you visit all the attractions on the tour. But we cannot guarantee the total duration of the boat tour due to many factors such as flight delays, sea conditions, weather, and the progress of the group along the tour route..
NOTE: Timings will vary due to flight schedules, air traffic control delays, weather conditions and progress of the tour group along the tour route. It is possible that you complete all boat tour stops in less time than the approximate 3 to 4 hours duration, if your tour group is progressing quickly through the stops. It is possible your return to Nassau is earlier or later than published.
No, a private boat tour is not a boat charter arrangement where the customer can go anywhere they would like; it is a guided boat tour to visit upto 6 attractions.
It is not possible to stop at any other islands and we do not advertise any other stops or attractions. All the tour attractions have to be approved and risk assessed prior to a customer traveling on our tours.
Private boat tours have a duration of approximately 3 to 4 hours. The maximum duration is 4 hours (unless purchasing the extended tour package) to provide customers with ample time to enjoy each attraction. However it is possible that if the customer completes the stops quicker than normal, you will finish all attractions less than 4 hours duration. If the customer wants to progress quickly through their itinerary or finish early on a private boat tour, they have that choice. Once the attractions have been completed, the captain will return the customer to the dock and the boat tour will end. Once the boat tour has ended it is not possible to go back out on the water to visit anywhere else, or revist any attractions.
Due to time constraints of the day trip it is not possible to guarantee stops at the Underwater Plane wreck at Staniel Cay. If there is time available on your tour you boat captain will try to stop for a short 5-minute sightseeing stop only.
If a stop at the Underwater Plane wreck is important to you, or you want to snorkel at the plane wreck, this can be organised but only when you upgrade to a Private Boat Package. Please contact us for private boat package pricing.
It depends on your departure location and tour booking:
For Nassau to Exuma Day Trips: The flight duration between Nassau Airport and Staniel Cay Airport (in Exuma) is approximately 30 minutes. Including ground taxy time the total journey duration is approximately 45 minutes. Weather, congestion and air traffic control delays may affect the flight or journey duration.
For Miami to Bahamas (Exuma) Day Trips: The flight duration between Fort Lauderdale Executive FXE Airport and Staniel Cay Airport is a total journey time of 2 hours approximately. The journey is split into 2 flights; The first flight is from Fort Lauderdale Executive FXE Airport to Andros which is approximately 1 hour. At Andros passengers will disembark to clear Bahamas Customs and Immigration. This transit stop can last between 15 and 30 minutes. The second flight is from Andros to Staniel Cay Airport which is approximately 45 minute journey. Therefore a total journey time of 2 hours approximately.
On the return flight from Staniel Cay Airport to Fort Lauderdale Executive FXE Airport, will generally be pre-cleared with Customs and therefore be operated as one direct flight (no stops) with a journey duration of 1hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.
Weather, congestion and air traffic control delays may affect the flight or journey duration.
