Unlike Junkanoo Beach, which is in Downtown Nassau, Goodmans Bay Nassau is a few miles west of the city. This makes it impractical to visit by walking, but thankfully, easy to reach by bus or taxi.
To reach Goodman’s Bay, a taxi ride will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. If you have additional time, you can take a local bus, or jitney, for a fraction of the price. Specifically, the Route 10 jitney can take you right to the Cable Beach Bahamas area. Stops are marked along the way, making it easy to know when to get off.
While you need to take transportation to reach it, the location of Goodman’s Bay Beach Nassau Bahamas makes it a great spot for a day trip. Nassau offers many excursions, with some even taking you to nearby destinations like Rose Island, and even Big Major Cay in Exuma, home to the Swimming Pigs.

Few Nassau resorts epitomize island luxury better than Baha Mar. Covering 1,000 acres of oceanfront property, the resort is one of the best hotels on Cable Beach Bahamas and offers excellent access to Goodmans Bay Nassau.
Baha Mar Nassau is home to three unique hotel properties: Grand Hyatt, SLS, and Rosewood. Each offers a different experience and set of amenities, with Rosewood Baha Mar being the most luxurious and exclusive.
